A Brighton actor’S Headshot session
Liv came for her Brighton Actors Headshot session this week and we had the best time. Liv is a recent acting graduate and is already working in London on her first acting roles.
Every headshot session at my studio is a creative and collaborative experience, tailored to the individual actor who walks through the door. We begin with a cup of tea and a relaxed chat — a chance to get to know each other, talk about the actor’s goals, and choose outfits that will best represent their range.
From there, I craft the lighting setup, often using a mix of studio and natural light to bring out the unique qualities of each look. No two sessions are ever the same, because each actor brings something different to the process — and that’s exactly how it should be. I believe in collaboration; your input, energy, and ideas are just as important as mine.
Throughout the shoot, I offer direction and support to help you feel confident and at ease. I know it takes time to warm up in front of the camera, so I allow at least two hours for every session — no rushing, just space to explore and get the best from each moment.
For this particular shoot, we started with three final images included, but the actor chose to purchase more — something that happens often when the gallery comes together. I love seeing actors leave not just with headshots they’re proud of, but having genuinely enjoyed the process.

A Headshot session with Liv
Liv brought a great energy to this shoot and really got the most out of her Brighton Actor’s Headshot Session. She has had headshots previously so had a good idea of what she needed from this shoot. As always, my actors bring a selection of outfits and Liv choose really well to allow for a good selection to show different looks

“The final images far exceed what I could have ever imagined- thank you for capturing me at my best, and for making me feel so connected and comfortable.”
